Dear Faculty;

The Division of Student Services designs programs with specific learning outcomes as part of their focus. These programs may be used as you seek ways to complete the learning that occurs in your classrooms.

In the 2008 Student Life Survey, 81% of respondents said that "Class Assignment (encouraged to attend by a professor)" was a factor in their decision to participate in campus events. I encourage you to make students aware of the range of co-curricular activities available to them on campus, and to consider incorporating one or more of these programs into your own course syllabi.
