The AHS-HPD degree at Grand Valley State University requires 120 credits to graduate. Up to 80 A.S./A.A.S. credits can apply toward earning Bachelor of Science degree in Allied Health Sciences. The student must earn 40 credits at the senior level institution, of which 30 credits must be completed at Grand Valley. Transferability of credit is done on an individual basis through transcript evaluation.

Upon admission to GVSU, students should complete the AHS-HPD application for the program to determine eligibility.

Application Deadline

Applications for admission are accepted on a rolling basis, but deadline for graduate assistantship consideration for fall semester is January 15. The $30 nonrefundable application fee is waived if the applicant has previously applied to GVSU.
