The AHS-HPD degree at Grand Valley State University requires 120 credits to graduate. Up to 80 A.S./A.A.S. credits can apply toward earning Bachelor of Science degree in Allied Health Sciences. The student must earn 40 credits at the senior level institution, of which 30 credits must be completed at Grand Valley. Transferability of credit is done on an individual basis through transcript evaluation. Upon admission to GVSU, students should complete the AHS-HPD application for the program to determine eligibility. |
All Master of Education (M.Ed.) programs require a minimum of 33 semester hours. |

Application Deadline |
Applications for admission are accepted on a rolling basis, but deadline for graduate assistantship consideration for fall semester is January 15. The $30 nonrefundable application fee is waived if the applicant has previously applied to GVSU. |

Deadline for fall semester is July 15; winter, November 15; spring/summer, March 15. Early application is strongly encouraged to secure course enrollment.
