Courses focus on growth and development across a person's lifespan, psychopharmacology, theories of mental health and personality, treatment modalities (individual, group, and family), and practicum experiences.

This program is in a hybrid format, combining online learning with high-impact, in-person experiences. The certificate can be completed in 22 credits, depending on previously completed coursework.

The certificate in bioinformatics and genomics requires a minimum of 12 credits - nine credits in the core and at least three credits of electives.

Core courses (three credits each):

All Master of Education (M.Ed.) programs require a minimum of 33 semester hours. To receive the M.Ed in Leadership, students must complete the College of Education and Community Innovation foundations requirements and one of the emphasis areas.

The badge is comprised of four courses, three credits each.

  • ACC 622 - Tax Research and Writing
  • ACC 624 - Corporate Tax 1
  • ACC 627 - Estate, Gift, and Trust 1
  • ACC 629 - Partnership Taxation

The badge is not a degree or certificate; however, if you choose to continue, completion of this badge and the other three taxation specialization badges will create stackable credentials towards earning a master's degree in taxation.

Admission to the Seidman College of Business and completion of the capstone required to earn the MST, talk to a counselor for details.

Deadline for fall semester is July 15; winter, November 15; spring/summer, March 15. Early application is strongly encouraged to secure course enrollment. Those applications received after the deadline will be considered on an individual basis and program availability. Late applicants should contact program director Rick Vandermolen, [email protected]. The $30 nonrefundable application fee is waived if you have previously applied to GVSU.
