Currently the Speech-Language Pathology emphasis has two full time faculty members.
Beth L. Macauley, Ph.D., CCC-SLP, HPCS, received her BA, MA, & PhD from the University of Florida (Go Gators!). Her favorite area of teaching and research is anything brain related - especially stroke, TBI, and dementia based language problems. She also has a passion for animal-assisted therapy using dogs and horses (hippotherapy).
When she's not teaching and mentoring students, she can usually be found at athletic events rooting on her boys, at horse shows rooting for her younger daughter, playing her flute in the church orchestra, or reading a really good book - like the Steig Larssen series or anything by Oliver Sacks.
