I spent the majority of my time at GVSU serving as a Multicultural Assistant and being a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated. A specific memory was traveling to Alabama in 2001 for the Football National Championship with my good friend Yolan

My favorite memory is planning and executing the first big event for the GVSU Chapter of NAACP as the inaugural president. Our team wanted to create an entertainment event that truly resonated with students of color on campus.

One of my favorite Grand Valley memories is learning to develop & print black and white film as well as color - doing it the old-fashioned way. Professor Whitney Sevin was an amazing teacher.
