Doyle Hayes, '75

Principal and Founder of the dhayesGroup, Doyle Hayes, ’75 graduated from Grand Valley State University with two bachelors of science degrees in economics and operations research and later, an MBA from Western Michigan University. The organization helps its clients realize their own approaches to business development.

His early career included working for the Rochester products division of General Motors and Diesel Technology. These experiences would give him the resources to start his own automotive manufacturing firm, Pyper Products, in 1994.

Hayes is active in various leadership roles for Metropolitan Hospital, Mackinaw Center for Public Policy, Grand Valley State University Foundation, Mercantile Bank, Davenport University, and the Small Business Association of Michigan. He is also a board member for the Board of Governors Data Collection in the State of Michigan.
