Carole Bos, '77

Upon graduating from Grand Valley State University with a B.S. in history and Russian studies Carole Bos, ’77 continued her education at Michigan State University and Thomas Cooley Law School where she would earn her Juris Doctor Degree in 1981.
 
Since her graduation, she has worked as a law clerk, assistant trial attorney, lead counsel and first assistant counsel on civil litigation cases. In 1984 Bos became partner and vice-president of the law firm Buchanan & Bos and is currently partner at the law firm Bos & Glazier.
 
Throughout her career, Bos has served as special attorney to the Unites States Attorney General, handled many multi-million dollar cases, and written numerous articles and legal books. She is also the creator and primary author of AwesomeStories.com which uses a courtroom-style approach to talk about history and pop culture.
 
Bos is known among her peers as a “Super Lawyer” because of her various honors, community endeavors, and her many contributions to the legal profession. She has also participated in many “pre-law nights” at Grand Valley by spending time speaking to the countless students who aspire to become lawyers.
 
She and husband James currently reside in Holland.
