Reconstruction: Recent Work by Dennis Nahabetian and Tara Stephenson
January 8 - January 26, 2007 - Work by nationally renowned metalsmiths, Dennis Nahabetian and Tara Stephenson was curated by Beverly Seley, GVSU Art and Design Faculty.

Them: Images of Separation
February 12 - March 21, 2007 - This exhibition promoted understanding and healing through the examination of items from popular culture used to stereotype different groups of people. THEM explored the subjugation of women, poor whites, gays, Jewish Americans, Native Americans, Mexican Americans, African Americans, and Asian Americans and others and tackled some of the most contentious, cultural hot-button issues today. Curated by Ferris State University's Jim Crow Museum of Racist Memorabilia.

Student Retrospective
Monday, May 14 - Thursday, August 2, 2007 - GVSU faculty of both the Department of Art and Design and the School of Communications are invited to select student work from a wide range of courses. This exhibition, representative of each program's diverse and challenging curriculum, as well as the high caliber of students involved in each, will be on view for the benefit of visitors to GVSU's campus over the summer months.

Line/Edge/Influence
Wednesday, August 15 - Friday, September 21, 2007 - Bill Hosterman, printmaker and assistant professor of Art and Design at Grand Valley State University, exhibited his new body of work created over the last four years. Also on display were a selection of prints by international artists organized by Hosterman that illustrate the influence these 18 artists had on one another. This group of prints, The Echo Portfolio, was donated to the university's permanent collection at the end of the exhibit.

No Blind Date: A Two Person Exhibition
Thursday, October 4 - Friday, November 2, 2007 - Jo Hormuth and John Phillips met on the phone during the summer of 1983. They have lived and worked together ever since. John is a painter. Jo works with everything else. This was their first exhibition together...
