Grand Valley State University is honored to present The Emerging Allegory. The exhibition is on view: November 19th thru December 7th, 2013 in the GVSU Art Gallery. The School of Communications, celebrating 30 years, is sponsoring this show. Ten emerging photographers are exhibiting their newest images for The Emerging Allegory exhibition.
On Thursday 5:00-7:00 PM, November 21, is a celebratory reception which is open to the public for viewing the photographers’ new works. The photographers’ featured in this show will be present to discuss their work. The event is Free. Dress is casual and light refreshments are provided.
The show opens November 19th thru December 7th. Gallery hours are 10:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday, Thursday 10:00 am to 7:00 pm. There is a Special Viewing on Saturday 3:00-5:00 PM, December 7th, following commencement.
Those participating in The Emerging Allegory include: Zachary Campbell, Ashley Kuntz, Heather Mertz, Jessica Monroe, Felicia Moses, Alexianna Mundy, Olivia Nevius, Trisha Piszczek, Amanda Smiley, and Kelsey Steinhauser. Images by the photographers are available upon request.

GVSU Art Gallery is located at 1121 Performing Arts Center, Allendale Campus. Exhibitions are free and open to the public. Metered parking available in the Kirkhof lot.
