Description

Join us for the opening reception celebrating two exhibitions: Veracity, Distortion, Reduction: Visual Explorations by Ed Wong-Lidga and The Evolving System: Group Portfolio & Recent Printmaking Work By Bill Hosterman.  The exhibitions are on view at the Performing Arts Center Gallery and the Lake Ontario Hall Red Wall Gallery respectively.  

The opening reception, celebrating both artists, will take place from 5:00 - 7:00 PM in the PAC Art Gallery on the main Allendale campus.  Enjoy music performed by the PASCHKE TRIO and refreshments.  This event is open to the public with free admission.

The Veracity, Distortion, Reduction: Visual Explorations by Ed Wong-Lidga is an exhibition of recent works marking the retirement of Grand Valley State University art professor Ed Wong-Ligda. The coordinator of illustration in the Department of Art & Design, Wong-Ligda has been associated with GVSU since 1996.

His works are in many private and public collections including the Grand Rapids Community Foundation, the Public Museum of Grand Rapids, Appalachian State University, the State of Oregon, the State of Missouri and Grand Valley State University.
