Description
Grand Valley theatre students hone their skills in all aspects of theatre in these Performance Studio Series, fully staged, student directed and acted productions.
The Most Massive Woman Wins, by Madeleine George, examine issues of body image along with four women anticipating surgery. The four characters represent a range of body types, yet all expect liposuction to bring them happiness.
WASP, by legendary comedian and actor Steve Martin, famous for his roles in more than 40 films including Planes Trains and Automobiles, The Jerk, and Father of the Bride, also turned his talent to play writing. This dark, absurd, one act comedy examines ideas on love, success and happiness.
