Description
The New Music Ensemble under the direction of Associate Professor Bill Ryan, will perform a series of original one minute works written by student composers in response to the current Art Gallery exhibition, "Mystery, Magic, and Mayhem: Wonders from the American Museum of Magic."
The annual composition competition includes a judging panel who will choose the three cash award winners, and the audience favorite wins a prize as well.
The competition, underwritten by Larry and Elaine Shay, is a collaboration between the Art Gallery and the Department of Music. Light refreshments will be served.
