Data Science minor now available

Data Science minor now available

The Statistics Department and the Computer Science Department at Grand Valley State University is pleased to announce a new Data Science minor is now available to students.  The Data Science minor provides students with a deeper knowledge of data analysis through Statistics and Computer Science courses. Data Science teaches students how to extract useful information from large volumes of data, and to analyze data using statistical analysis, regression modeling, data mining and visualization, and predictive analytics to reveal valuable knowledge in a variety of fields, such as business, biology, engineering, and the health professions.
