Our College provides academic programs, films, and festivals on Latin America, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and Russia. Through the Padnos International Center, faculty, staff, and students may teach, work, or study in El Salvador, South Africa, or China to mention only a few of the many possibilities. Our programs in Religious Studies, Women and Gender Studies, Intercultural Communication, and Liberal Studies foster an understanding of the diversity of human experience, and the Kutsche Office of Local History links faculty, students, and staff with the diversity of West Michigan communities. Through sustainability internships, campus projects, courses, and research, Brooks College connects faculty, staff, students, and community members in solving problems to protect and promote the welfare of future generations in the areas of the environment, economics, and social justice.

Our College also supports innovative and transformative teaching and learning through talented faculty and staff dedicated to student success and personal attention. We are home to a cutting-edge general education program focused on twenty-first-century skills of collaborative problem-solving. The Frederik Meijer Honors College provides an innovative and challenging interdisciplinary curriculum. Our writing programs empower students, faculty, and community members to develop and express their intellect and imagination. Our new Office for Integrative Learning and Advising helps students and faculty connect courses to real-world opportunities.
