New Seidman Center
Grand Valley broke ground for the Seidman Center on May 25, 2011 and opened May 2013. Construction of the Seidman Center is a major investment in the downtown Grand Rapids riverfront area. The Seidman Center offers state-of-the-art collaboration spaces and technology to better support the integrated college curriculum, and provide a ‘front door’ to West Michigan businesses.
Future Students > Graduate
The Seidman College offers three graduate business degrees, the Master of Business Administration (a MBA, primarily for working professionals, and a Full-Time Integrated MBA for new graduates), the Master of Science in Accounting (MSA), and the Master of Science in Taxation (MST). The programs are fully accredited by the AACSB International - The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.
The Seidman College of Business welcomes applicants who are interested in expanding or continuing their professional education in business administration. The graduate curricula provides skills and knowledge that facilitate immediate practical application to today's business challenges. Graduate candidates master the abilities to analyze problems, develop solutions, and evaluate results in an environment of constant change.
The Seidman College of Business is housed in Grand Valley's Pew campus, located in the heart of the greater Grand Rapids business community. Convenient for students and for community involvement, this location facilitates interaction among graduate students and business community leaders. In fact, our ties to the business community are a special source of pride and have been applauded by our accrediting body. It is common for area CEOs and other business leaders to meet with classes and interact with students in a variety of ways.
The programs are open to qualified individuals with bachelor's degrees from accredited colleges and universities. Generally, no particular undergraduate degree is necessary, although a business undergraduate degree is required for FIMBA. Candidates are admitted into the master degree programs on the basis of aptitude, and capacity for study as indicated by previous academic record, test scores, and work experience. For your convenience, the traditional MBA program also offers courses on the Holland Meijer Campus.
