Graduate Student Advisory Board
The Graduate Student Advisory Board members serve as liaisons between students and administration. Following are the names of our Advisory Board members and a little information about each of them.
Dustin Cole is pursuing his MBA after earning a BA in Psychology from Calvin College. He is a graduate assistant for the Seidman College of Business Marketing Dept.
Traci Courter-Quillan is a vice-president at Mercantile Bank in Commercial Loans. She earned a BBA in Finance from GVSU and is now pursuing the MBA. Traci is the treasurer of the GSAB.
Claire Filiatreau is a supply chain planner for Amway Corp. She earned a BA in Business Administration, Marketing and Logistics Management, from Central Michigan University. Claire is an MBA student.
Daniel Gunsberg is an MSA student. His first degree is in construction management from Michigan State University, and he also earned an MBA from the University of Michigan - Flint.
Paul Jabaay earned a BS in Biology from the University of Michigan. He is a full-time student and is employed as a graduate assistant in the Economic Department. Paul is pursuing his MBA.
Jessica Lis earned a BS in athletic training from Grand Valley State and works as a personal trainer for the YMCA. She is earning an MBA. Jessica is serving as president of the GSAB.
William Norkus is employed as a Lead Engineer/Technologist at General Electric-Aviation Systems. He has earned both a BS and MS in Electrical Engineering from Michigan Technological University. He is earning an MBA.
Shelby Nykamp earned a BBA in Finance and Economics from GVSU. She is a credit analyst at Mercantile Bank and is pursuing an MBA. Shelby serves as secretary for the GSAB.
Ryan Podvin earned a Bachelor's of Landscape Architecture at Michigan State University and is now pursing an MBA.
Kevin Rapes earned a BBA in Finance at Grand Valley State. He is currently a credit analyst for GreenStone Farm Credit Services and is pursuing the MBA. Kevin is vice-president of the GSAB.
Dan Salvati is human resource specialist for Spectrum Health and is earning an MBA. His undergraduate degree is in business from Aquinas College.
Patrick Sloop earned a BBA in Accounting and Finance from GVSU. He is currently pursuing his MBA. Patrick is a senior market analyst for Spectrum Health.
Nicholas Westerhof is a full-time student pursuing his MST. He previously worked in the tax field and has completed both a BS in Accounting and an MSA at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
Matthew Wolterstorff is earning his MBA. He previously earned a BA in Communications Studies at the University of Michigan and is employed in outside sales for Consolidated Electrical Distributors.
