Undergraduate Economics Minor
Economics training provides you with skills that are useful in a variety of settings, because economic issues are important in virtually every occupation. You can find employment in business or in the public sector. Additionally, economics is considered an excellent foundation for advanced professional training in many fields such as law and business administration. GPA requirement for the minor is 2.5. All students are eligible to complete an economics minor except economics majors. Courses cannot be taken on a credit/no credit basis.
Required courses
As an Economics minor, you must complete 21 credit hours in economics including:
ECO 210 Introductory Macroeconomics
ECO 211 Introductory Microeconomics
