Continuing Education at Grand Valley offers a constantly evolving array of education and training programs to reach and impact lifelong learners within the community. These education and training programs are designed to help individuals be more prepared and better trained for professional opportunities, or more informed about issues of personal interest. Continuing Education at Grand Valley provides advanced learning and training for individuals, and contributes to the development of a knowledgeable, productive pool of employees for area businesses.
Workplace training. Workplace training options from Continuing Education include MIOSHA workshops, workplace language school, online workshops, and onsite training customized to meet the needs of specific businesses or industries.
Business outreach. Continuing Education connects businesses with the resources of the University to create training solutions that help people and organizations remain competitive.
Education opportunities. Degree completion and professional development opportunities are available for individuals of all ages at campuses in Allendale and Holland, and centers in Holland and Traverse City.
No Worker Left Behind. This free tuition program from the State of Michigan is intended to help unemployed workers or those working in low-wage jobs obtain new skills and credentials. The primary focus is on helping workers attain professional certificates or associate’s degrees.
