Research Interests
I am interested in using organic synthesis to make novel molecules that can be used to study biological systems. I will be studying the receptor-ligand and protein-protein interactions involved in two classes of receptors, nuclear receptors and G-protein coupled receptors. In particular I'm interested in studying one receptor involved in estrogen biosynthesis and another activated by a novel thyroid hormone metabolite.
