 Hello Families,

As we start our new month of October we are really starting to feel the Fall like weather. This is definitely jacket weather. Don't forget that this Thursday is our annual fall field trip to the Post Family Farm. They are calling for rain, but we are still planning on going. So please dress your child in warm rain boots, jacket and bring an extra set of clothes for when we return from the farm. Starting the second week of October we will begin learning about leaves, pumpkins, apples and monsters for the last week. I have uploaded the current lesson plan for this week to give you an idea of what they will look like and what the plans are for the day. Please check in weekly as I will change them out.  Our Zoophonics letters for this month will be "f,g,h,and I" for Francy Fish, Gordo Gorilla, Honey Horse and Inny Inch Worm.

Some Extra happenings going on this month we will have our center we have one more child joining our group on Monday, October 6th Katelyn. If you see her or her family please give them a warm welcome to the center. On October 31st, we will be having our Halloween walk around campus. We will leave the CEC around 9 and return before lunch. More details will come through e-mail when the time gets closer.

As part of our parents and teacher communication I have added some articles, such as developmental milestones and potty training, to the to clear file holders near the door to the playground. These articles are yours to take on and keep and if you have any questions or would like to see other articles please feel free to e-mail me and I can add them to the area. Also, if you get a chance to look at the hands on learning bulletin board in the classroom I have been adding what books, songs, or charting we do daily at group time to the area.

Thanks and have a great rest of your week!

Ms. Sarah
