“Transitioning to the Next Generation Science Standards”

Description:  A conference for K-12 educators (including pre-service teachers)

The Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) for today’s students and tomorrow’s workforce are being developed through a collaborative, state-led process in which Michigan has a prominent role.  The NGSS are based on the Framework for K-12 Science Education.  Come this fall to learn about NGSS with keynote speaker, Joseph Krajcik, head of the Physical Science Design Team developing the NGSS.
