An Evening with JOSH MACPHEE.
Josh MacPhee is a Brooklyn-based artist, activist and curator whose MANY projects include:
- Founding the artists' cooperative Justseeds in 1998 as an online distribution system for justice-minded graphic art
- Co-founding the Interference Archive, an online collection of socially-engaged artistic works
- Curating Paper Politics, an exibition of prints that has been continually traveling since 2004
- Writing Stencil Pirates: A Global Study of the Street Stencil
- Co-writing Signs of Change: Social Movement Cultures 1960s to Now
- Co-editing several books of graphic art, including
Signal: A Journal of International Political Graphics and Culture,
Reproduce and Revolt, and
Celebration of a People's History
