Alumni Awards 2011-12--CLAS Alumnus Make Us Proud

The Alumni Association has selected its Distinguished Alumni Award recipients for the 2011-2012 academic year and one the two recipients is from the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences. These awards are noted at Commencement.
James Ashley, ’87 has been selected for the April ceremony (4/28) in the afternoon. The Awards Dinner where he will be recognized is held the night before the ceremony.
James who received his degree in Geology is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter Camera Science Operations Center at Arizona State University and is involved in a number of different missions surrounding the Mars Exploration Rover mission.
