Caitlin Leslie, GEO major, Snags Undergrad Poster Award
Date: October 15, 2012
Geology major, Caitlin Leslie, won first place (and was awarded $500) in the poster competition for undergraduates at the Great Midwestern NASA Space Grant Regional Meeting. States represented at the conference were Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, and Iowa. Caitlin was the only Michigan undergraduate representative.
Winning Abstract title: Recent Folding, Geomorphic Evolution, and
Paleoclimate: Apsheron Peninsula, Azerbaijan
