I've always been one to keep a 'Things to do in this lifetime' list in the back of my mind. Little did I know that this list would become reality so soon. College life exposes you to so many things, so many opportunities for you to take advantage of. Still, you can't do them all at once, especially with 16-18 credits a semester, internships, fieldwork, extracurricular activities and a part time job. Nevertheless, it was the relationships that I made along the way, the organizations I was a part of, the programs I participated in and the events that I attended that led me to the experiences that I needed to enter the 'Real World.' Southern Africa may be as real as it gets.

Exactly one month post graduation I was off to the small country of Lesotho to serve in the Peace Corps as a Community Health and Economic Development Advisor. I am an administrator of a youth sports program, a coach, a teacher and a mentor. People always say, 'Education is the key to success,' but I've always been taught that it's what you do with it that truly matters.
