2011 Student Freedom Ride:
American ExperienceInvites College Students to “Get on the Bus”
Be one of 40 college students to join original Freedom Riders in retracing the 1961 Rides.
May 6-16, 2011: Washington, DC to Jackson, MS
JOINstudents from across the country in retracing the route of the 1961 Freedom Rides. Accepted students will participate at no cost to them. All transportation, hotel and food expenses are covered by American Experience.

2. Niemeyer Awards Nomination deadline is Feb. 4 to the Deans office.
The Niemeyer awards nominations are due to our office by Feb. 4th. You can find the nomination on the provost website.http://www.gvsu.edu/provost/glenn-a-niemeyer-awards-5.htm .
3. MyPath- Now available for all students - Betty Schaner
The Records Office staff did herculean work over the fall semester to update all previously approved waivers, substitutions and exceptions to student records (and there were 1000's!) so MyPath would run accurately. Please take some time to review a few of your students and see how easy MyPath is to use. In case you've forgotten the specifics, here's a link to the information about MyPath on the Registrar's website:
