The requested deadline for department responses is Friday - February 13, 2009. Distribution of this information will be by email. 2. Liberal Education Academy for 2009-2010 – message from Darren Walhof
I want to draw your attention to the announcement from the Pew FTLC regarding the Liberal Education Academy for 2009-2010. Faculty members chosen to participate will commit to a year in which they study one of their courses in the context of liberal education, and then develop, carry out, and report on a project that derives from the study. Those who complete the reports will receive $500 for professional development. CLAS is allowed to send up to four faculty members. Please encourage faculty in your unit who might benefit from this program to apply. Applications are due in the CLAS Dean's office by February 15.
