When this program was discussed at Unit Heads this past fall, a request for assessment data was made. As the semester came to a close, Admissions was finally able to forward the data that exists related to the Awards of Distinction program. I hope you find this information helpful.

A reminder that CLAS has the opportunity to submit nominations for a faculty member, a Undergraduate and a Graduate student. Please review the materials and send electronic submissions to laugc@gvsu.edu by Feb. 5th.

3. Adjunct Academy (attachment)– Tamara Rosier

I want to remind you of an important service that FTLC offers for part-time faculty members. Adjunct Academy presents part-time faculty with an opportunity to discover new teaching strategies, learn more about GVSU and meet other part-time faculty. Past participants have responded positively to the practicality of the sessions and also enjoyed getting to know the real people who are with me in this endeavor to teach. 

The next Adjunct Academy is on January 16 from 8:30-12:00 on the Pew Grand Rapids Campus.  The theme for this winters Academy is Using the Tools of the Trade. Participants will leave with new tools that they can use in their classroom.
