Convocation on August 26 includes an academic procession (faculty and AP staff in regalia). Just a reminder to bring your robes to campus (many people have them at home after commencement). Need regalia? It can be ordered through the University Bookstore. Call 331-2450. Orders may take 4-6 weeks. CLAS has one loaner robe and mortar board (contact johnstmo@gvsu.edu).
Soon, unit heads and academic coordinators will be receiving the Spring/Summer 2011 Grade Roster Reports. These reports include Course/Section, CRN number, Instructor name and the number of students requiring a grade. Please distribute these reports to your faculty.
Please Note: These reports should also be retained by the Department Coordinator, as they will be used in tracking missing grades by the Records Office, Dean's Office and Department Coordinators.
All course sections containing students who require a midterm grade are listed on the Midterm Grade Roster Report.
Grade Reports will be distributed electronically before the actual deadline date, in an effort to ensure that all grades are entered in Banner by faculty by the deadline date. Please use the early Missing Grade Reports as an updated reminder to faculty who need to enter grades in Banner.
Grading will open at 8:00 am on Tuesday, August 9, 2011.
Grades are due at 12:00 noon on Monday, August 15, 2011.
As always, it is crucial that essential personnel are on duty when grades are due.
All questions regarding Banner should be directed to Elyse Glass in the Records Office. She can be reached at 1-3327.
