Classics major featured in 2015 Commencement Video

Classics major Mark ten Haaf '15 was one of three new graduates profiled in the 2015 Commencement video screened before an audience of thousands at the Van Andel Arena.
Answering the question, "Why Grand Valley?," ten Haaf praised the quality of students and faculty and welcomed the university as a place that enabled him to start a family and included memorable experiences like 2013's HOMERathon.
More than 3,000 students participated in one of two spring commencement ceremonies, including GVSU's 100,000th graduate.
