Undergraduate Research Opportunities at Van Andel Research Institute (VARI)

OPPORTUNITIES:

Summer Frederik and Lena Meijer Student Internship Program
This is designed to provide college students an opportunity to be mentored by professionals in their chosen field, use state-of-the-art equipment and technology, and learn valuable interpersonal and presentation skills. We expect to support 10-15 internships, depending on the needs of the Scientific Investigators.

You will gain: an understanding of research methods, instruments & testing

You will assist: in resolving problems in the execution of experiments

You will understand, recognize and properly perform & record established experimental procedures, and give an oral presentation about your experience to the research staff.

Guest Student Programs - Academic Credit
Educational opportunities for U.S. and international college and university students often become available year around. Academic credit is awarded through the student's home institution.
