The first Padnos/Sarosik Endowed Professorship of Civil Discourse was awarded to Lisa M. Perhamus at an inaugural ceremony on November 20, 2013. This new program promotes civil discourse relating to peace and social justice.
At the December 2013 College of Education Convocation, Priscilla Hill Gregels was presented with the Outstanding Alumni Educator Award from the COE Alumni Association.
