The COE Alumni Association's Outstanding Alumni Administrator Awards were presented to Lisa Minnella, M.Ed., and Michael Pascoe, Ed.S. in December, 2014.
Dr. Mary Bair, Associate Professor of Special Education, Foundations, and Technology, received the 2015 Pew Teaching Excellence Award on February 5, 2015.
Dr. Donald Mitchell, Assistant Professor of Leadership and Learning, received the Distinguished Early-career Scholar Award on February 5, 2015.

The first Padnos/Sarosik Endowed Professorship of Civil Discourse was awarded to Lisa M. Perhamus at an inaugural ceremony on November 20, 2013. This new program promotes civil discourse relating to peace and social justice.
