Recommendations Related to Standard 6
Based on the assessments and information supplied in this section of the report, the following recommendations related to Standard 6 merit future attention.
- Work with the university to devise methods that will link Initial candidates with the College of Education from the time of their first enrollment and in more official and consistent ways.
- Ensure that resources are available to adapt and maintain the unit assessment system.
- Continue the progress already made in ensuring that the unit has sufficient faculty and staff to prepare candidates to meet standards and to allow the unit to meet its professional and community responsibilities.
