Welcome to the College of Education at Grand Valley State University. We are very proud to share our college with you and greatly appreciate your willingness to review our past progress and future intentions.

The COE has changed dramatically in the past five years. There is clearly a heightened level of excitement and activity as a result of recent changes including our transformation from School to College, relocation of faculty and staff to the downtown campus, identification and implementation of a unique niche of social responsibility and commitment to diversity.

Contained within our Institutional Report, you will find a host of individual success stories. The preparation of this study has allowed us to reflect deeply about our day to day work and generate insight of how we might change what we do to strengthen our practices. This report is gratefully dedicated to the many faculty and staff who believe in inquiry, and utilize the results of this inquiry to make a positive difference in student lives.
