The emotional impairment program prepares teachers to implement best practices in a variety of educational settings. The emphasis is on instructional practices and individualized interventions that address the academic, social, and affective needs of students with emotional and behavioral disorders.
The M.Ed. degree in Special Education emphasis in Emotional Impairment requires 33 credit hours.
