Skills Groups

 Summer 2014 Offerings

Adult Children of Alcoholics

Day/Time: Mondays, 1:00 - 2:30p - Beginning May 12th
Location: 204 STU
This group is for individuals who grew up in an alcoholic or otherwise dysfunctional environment. As a result, they may feel different than others, struggle with relationships and have difficulty meeting one's own needs. ACOA members will find the safety to share fears, experiences, strength and hope. The group will focus on grieving past childhood experiences, along with developing techniques and healthy coping skills so that current healthy relationships and individual identity may be developed.

* Participants are encouraged, but not required to attend an ACOA workshop prior to attending group.
