Career Library:  Staff
The Staff at the Counseling and Career Development Center aid in developing the programs and services that are offered within the Career Library. The following explanations will give a general idea of the ways in which the staff integrates these programs and services.

Clinical Staff - The Counseling and Career Development staff develop career programs and practices enabling students to achieve their career goals. Staff members are committed to servicing the career needs of GVSU students, faculty and campus community through career counseling, career assessment, consultation and research.

Graduate Assistant - The Center's graduate assistant works in the Career Library helping students identify, locate and research career materials. Also, the graduate assistant maintains and updates the career files, resources, and assists students in using a variety of computer resource information systems including eDISCOVER / O*NET® / BRIDGES / GRE / GMAT / MCAT / LSAT test preparation guides, plus linkages to corporations, educational institutions and government agencies. Upon request, the graduate assistant makes career presentations to groups of students / staff / faculty.

Clerical Office Technical Staff - Office staff members maintain client and office records. In addition, the Center's staff are responsible for maintaining counselor schedules, ordering new career materials, maintaining the Center's career finical record, and ensuring that telephone messages are relayed in a timely and professional manner.
