Public Safety Services: The Department of Public Safety maintains a daily crime log for the Allendale Campus. The log can be viewed in person at the Department of Public Safety office in the Service Building on the Allendale campus. The Facilities Services Safety Manager maintains the log of fires that have occurred in Allendale Campus student housing. The log for the Allendale Campus may be viewed online www.gvsu.edu/facilitiesservices or at the Facilities Services customer service desk in the Service Building. A printed copy will be provided upon request by contacting Facilities Services at (616) 331-3000. The daily fire log for the Robert C. Pew Grand Rapids Campus is maintained at the Pew Security Department located in the Eberhard Center in Suite 102. A printed copy will be provided upon request by contacting Pew Campus Security during normal business hours at (616) 331-6677.

Program Integrity (Consumer Protection)
Grand Valley State University encourages students and prospective students with complaints involving institutional policies and/or consumer protection issues to first address their concerns with staff in the appropriate office, department or college whose area of responsibility covers the complaint. The University’s administration will be involved as needed to address the complaint.
Pursuant to the state authorization provision of the Program Integrity Regulations (34 C.F.R. 668.43) established by the Department of Education on October 29, 2010, the following contact information is provided for filing complaints that remain unresolved after engaging in the above-referenced process. Complaints concerning broad institutional academic practices, such as those that raise issues regarding the University’s ability to meet accreditation standards, may be forwarded to The Higher Learning Commission at 230 South LaSalle Street, Suite 7-500, Chicago, IL 60604-1413 (http://ncahlc.org/Information-for-the-Public/complaints.html).
