Convocation

GVSU Opening Convocation

The beginning of the academic year is formally marked by a convocation ceremony. The occasion is observed as a time to honor distinguished faculty and welcome incoming freshmen. The President of the University presents opening remarks. Administrative/Professional staff are encouraged to attend and participate.
