The Division of Student Services strives to create an environment that celebrates diversity. The Dean of Students Office serves as an information resource and problem-solving center for LGBT students. The LGBT Resource Center, www.gvsu.edu/lgbtrc/, is located in 1161 Kirkhof Center, 616.331.2530. Colette Sequin Beighley (beighlec@gvsu.edu) ,  is the director of the LGBT Resource Center

Limitations are lawful if they are: directly related to a legitimate university purpose, required by law, lawfully required by a grant or contract between the university and the state or federal government, or addressing domestic partner benefits.

Grand Valley students, faculty and staff are encouraged to report any harassing behavior to the Department of Public Safety and to the Dean of Students Office.
