Academic Advising – Academic advice to students and their parents, and also a useful resource for faculty and staff members.

 Accessibility Problems on Campus – If a maintenance issue is disrupting accessibility notify Facilities Services by calling (616) 331-3000 or follow the link.

Berkowitz Scholarship for Students with Disabilities - This scholarship is available to any student currently enrolled as a degree-seeking undergraduate student at Grand Valley State University who has a documented physical or learning disability.

Career Services – Provides a host of services that assist students in their job search.

Counseling and Career Development Center – Offers assistance to individuals seeking personal or career counseling.

Emergency Evacuation Plan for Students with Disabilities - This is the Department of Public Safety’s directions for the emergency evacuation of students with disabilities.

 Handicap Van Service- DSS provides van services for student with mobility disabilities. Utilizing the van service requires prior notification to DSS in a minimum of 24 hours. Ride availability is based on class schedule and the number of riders. The van will pick students from their on-campus residence and bring them to classes on time or ahead of schedule. Parking Services – Information about parking regulations, parking citations/ appeals, resident and commuter parking and temporary permits.

Testing Services – Coordinates accommodated testing for students with disabilities who participate in the Disability Support Services (DSS) program. If you are a participant in the DSS program, you may qualify for accommodated testing. Click this online Test Accommodation Form link for more information.
