Project Abstract

This project is intended to improve an existing demo that is presented to customers for DornerWorks Ltd. This demo visually illustrates the isolation and security features of a hypervisor called seL4. This hypervisor can run multiple virtual machines on the same piece of hardware, and each machine is completely isolated from the other. For this demo, one virtual machine controls and runs an inverted pendulum, while the other runs a video game called DOOM. There is also a big red button that when pressed, kills and restarts the DOOM virtual machine, while the inverted pendulum keeps running as intended. This visually shows the customer the security and isolation feature of seL4.
