Dr. Plouff holds a Bachelors degree in Environmental Engineering and a Masters degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering from Michigan Technological University. He has a Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership from Eastern Michigan University. He has been with GVSU since 1997, and coordinated the engineering cooperative education program from 1997 to 2004. His research interests have been in cooperative education and freshman/sophomore educational outcomes assessment. Other areas of interest include sustainable engineering design and processes, and environmental engineering design processes.
