Van Andel Institute is committed to improving the health and enhancing the lives of current and future generations through disease research and science education. Cancer research is our primary focus, but studies branch out into other diseases such as osteoporosis, Parkinson disease, and diabetes. Our researchers work to translate discoveries at the molecular level into effective therapies for patients.

The Innovation Institute at Henry Ford is a collaborative development laboratory on Henry Ford Hospital’s campus.   It provides resources to foster collaboration, coordination and communication between physicians, engineers, designers and industry.  By combining these talents, translational research and advanced technology, the Innovation Institute will develop new products, devices and processes to profoundly enhance and advance medical care to improve the lives and health of patients at home and around the world.

The West Michigan Science & Technology Initiative's mission is to create an environment that advances innovation and supports the commercialization of life science products and technologies. We bring together the product development tools, resources and community assets inventors and entrepreneurs need to turn their ideas into a commercial reality.
