Dr. Dunne came to GVSU in the fall of 2003, after spending approximately16 years as a practicing engineer.
After earning his B.S.E.E. and M.S.E.E. from the University of Illinois in Urbana/Champaign in the mid-80's, he worked for several large companies in the Chicago area, including Zenith Electronics, R.R. Donnelley and Sons, AT&T Bell Labs (now Lucent) and Tellabs, specializing in telecommunications research and design. While at Tellabs, he pursued his Ph.D. at the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, and graduated in the spring of 2003.
Dr. Dunne's technical interests include signal processing and communications.
