Jared Bergeron joined the School of Engineering in November 2019. He joins the school after working in industry for the past 12 years where he gained experience in building, installing and repairing aerospace and pharmaceutical equipment. He has extensive experience in PLC programming, 6-axis robotic programming, G-Code programming, variable frequency drives, vision systems, and general electromechanical repairs. He will be overseeing the Freshman Lab, training the Graduate Assistants assigned to this lab, and assisting students with the machinery found in KEN 250 and 252. Jared lives in Grand Rapids with his wife of 2 years, Kate and his two dogs, Remoulade and Roux. In he his free time, he enjoys building and flying drones!
