Alumni News, Honors, and Whereabouts

Elizabeth Shelley presented her paper “The Transformation of the Vice: The Morality Play Influences in Shakespeare’s Richard III” at the Shakespeare Connects conference held October 2-3, 2009 at Grand Valley.

Mandy McGill, Nicole Powell, Luke Rapa, Sarah Rapa, David Settle, Carrie Steenwyk, and Justin Vance are adjunct instructors at Grand Rapids Community College.

Ruth Reiniche was named Junior Fellow as the 2009 recipient of the O'Connor Collection Fellowship.  This includes $500 for travel to work in the O'Connor Collection at Georgia College and State University sometime during the upcoming school year.

David Settle presented his paper "Visions of a Christian Society" at the 2008 T.S. Eliot Conference: "Art, Culture, and Religion," co-sponsored by Grand Valley State University and The Russell Kirk Center.
