Marnie Parris-Bingle

Marnie is from Bay City, Michigan and now lives in Zeeland.  She graduated from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science in Business (BSBA), majoring in management with a minor in psychology.  Most recently she graduated from GVSU with a Masters in Adult and Higher Education (M.ed) with an emphasis in College Student Affairs Leadership.   

Her prior work experience is in a multitude of arenas from human resources to restaurant ownership and anything in between!  Prior to coming to the ESP program Marnie was a graduate assistant in Transfer Advising and Academic Orientation here at GVSU.  Before entering her graduate program she worked in Development at Hope College. 

Marnie and her husband Rob have been married for 16 years and have 3 children, Madison, 12 yrs old, Sloane, 7 yrs old, and Roenan, 4 yrs old.  Her hobbies include spending time at her family’s cottage on Lake Huron, decorating, walking/running, and shopping, downhill skiing, and anything her kids are involved in.
