Helen Hofmeister Hawley holds her Bachelor and Master of Music degrees in organ performance from the University of Kansas and has done post-graduate work in Cologne, Germany. She received her carillon instruction at the University of Kansas as a student of Albert Gerken. She is a carillonneur member of The Guild of Carillonneurs in North America and has served as a board member and a juro on the Exam Committee. She has performed carillon recitals thorughout the U.S. and in Europe. Hawley is currently the Minister of Music at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Grand Rapids.
