3^rd Annual Cancer Awareness Basketball Jam!

3-on-3 Competition, Skills Challenge, and Dunk Contest

January 27th, 2012 6:00pm-11:30pm, FH Arena

The GV Sport Leadership Club is hosting the 3^rd Annual Cancer Awareness Basketball Jam in memory of the late Dean Oliver Wilson from the Office of Multicultural Affairs.

This 3-on-3 basketball tournament will be a fundraising event to raise money for cancer research and the American Cancer Society.

The event will be packed with entertainment from basketball skills competitions, a dunk contest, DJ, dance competition between popular GV dance groups, as well as performances by other GV student performance groups. There will be tons of prizes and giveaways!

The tournament is limited to 16 men’s teams and 8 women’s teams. Each skills competition is limited to 4 participants. You can register at the registration tables in Kirkhof during the below times or contact Lindsay Evens (evensli@mail.gvsu.edu).

Registration Dates: TBA

Team registration fee: $30

Skills challenge/dunk contest fee: $10 (waived if already paid team fee)

General Admission: $2
